Do I need to wash my recyclables?
No need to extensively wash your recyclables. Just make sure any excess material has been removed, e.g. squeeze as much toothpaste as you can out of the tube, shake out any chips/coffee from an empty bag, etc. Do not wash with excessive amounts of water as this wastes water and defeats the purpose of recycling.
