Other Plans (Potentially)

As seeing snowboarding is not as cheap as I first imagined it’ll probably be a one day thing. However with our other time there I have other things planned not just as a birthday celebration but also just fun things to-do.
Things for sure doing:

  • Visit “The Village”
  • Hiking at sunset
  • Fireplace/pit
  • Christmas movies
  • Boarded Games

Up to discussion:

  • Axe throwing
  • Snow tubing
  • Ice skating

In-depth on each activity

-Visiting “The Village”
We wouldn’t need to spend money, technically, it’s more of a look around and if we wanan go shopping it could be a fun thing to do, either before or after dinner.
-Hiking at sunset
There is a pretty, less than two mile hike called “Standfield Perserve Boardwalk;” and is really beautiful in itself but at sunset is magical. Nevertheless, it could be either a good outdoor experience and great photo op.
-Fireplace/pit
Most Airbnbs I’m interested in have either and could be a nice thing to sit but and just hangout or talk with each other.
-Christmas Movies
We could watch a few Christmas themed movies while baking cookies, or before the trip we could all make our own baked goods. We could watch a few Christmas movies to wind down after our first day being there and we can also make hot chocolate.
-Boardgames
People could bring board games, or Jadyn her switch and we could play some games. Either we have a bracket competition or we could drink and then try playing certain games while not thinking properly.

Up to discussion

-Axe Throwing
Axe throwing as not as expensive as snowboarding could be fun! It’s called Yosemite Axe Throwing at 41530 Big Bear Blvd. Big Bear, CA. And groups up to 6+ for an hour is roughly $30.
-Snow Tubing
While Tubing would also be at snow summit, the lift ticket would not be needed as it is it’s own thing. It’s around $19-$27 and you get to slide down twice! And is located at Snow Summit, the Grizzly Ridge Tube Park.
-Ice Skating
As we can also achieve by doing in Indio it could be a fun experience. However, not much information was given when I looked into them but name is, Big Bear Ice Rink, 40729 Village Dr Ste 11 Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.

Food Idea(s)

Cafe Crepe (Breakfast)
Grizzly Manor Cafe (Breakfast)
Dank Donhts (Breakfast or Desert)
Oskside Restaurant & Bar (Lunch or Dinner)
North Pole Fudge and Ice Cream (Desert)
Pickle Pie Shop (Desert)
Teddy Bear Restaurant (All)

However these are all good ideas, I’d also like to do one big breakfast one of the days too. It’d be really nice to not just experience but also fun and along with dinner if up for the challenge.
