Does the Library provide access to e-books on its website?
Yes, our Library provides access to some of the digitized books on the websites. There is some of the books that not be published again due to their existence.
For more detail on how to access this free e-books, please consult in our main website, there we will teach you one-by-one guideline on how to access the e-books itself.
How can I get help on one-on-one research help?
Individual Research Consultations allow people to meet with staff member in order to get help from them. This services are available on the location,, over the phone and online.
Does your Library accept materials donations?
We are feel delightful if the user wanted to donate some of their collection to us . We are happy that people wanted to deliver us some of their material whether it is print or non-printed.
If you are donating physical book you can come to our library counter in person, to consult with our librarian. If you think on giving away the non-printed material we also accept it, which is you can send the books via email and also not to forget to attach it.
When are the Library open?
Please consult the individual library home pages for the hours, locations, and phone numbers. Usually the library will be opened on weekdays (excluding federal holidays), 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Where do I check books out
Books can be checked out at Library circulation desk. Not all of the books can be checked out, for example there is references books, rare books and materials that has been listed for Special Collection. This types of books can not be check out as it must be used in the library reading rooms.
How many books can I check out?
Users can borrow up to 10 books. However, not all types of books can be borrowed. This is said to be so because there are several books that have been collected as limited editions.
How long is the loan period of books provided by the library management?
The loan period for users is valid for up to 2 weeks from the date of loan, while for library staff, it is valid for up to one month from the date of borrowing.
Where can I process the return of books?
Users can return the book at the circulation counter or use the drop book machine that we have already provided.
Who can borrow books or other reading materials from this library?
Only to those who hold a library membership card, and also to the library staff themselves.
How can I get my own library membership card?
Users can get by buying the card which only costs "RM 10" and registering at the customer service counter located in our library. After the card is activated, users can borrow books or other materials that our library has provided.
May I use my mobile phone within the Library?
You can receive calls in the library, but you are not allowed to use them while in the quiet room.
You are also asked to activate silent mode on your mobile phone so as not to disturb other users when you are in the library.
Sending short messages is allowed as long as the sound emitted from your mobile phone does not disturb the people around you.
Can I use the switches around the library to charge my laptop or mobile phone?
You can use any switch found around the library, but you need to make sure that the cable will not cause any unexpected incident like, fire. Cables are also not allowed to cross the learning space because it will cause unexpected incidents to happen to other users.
