FAQ About Gilmore Girls

After Richard's death, Emily struggles to cope with the loss of her husband. She becomes more distant from her family, and even quits the Daughters of the American Revolution, an organization she had been heavily involved in. Emily also tries to find new ways to honor Richard's memory, including organizing a memorial library at the hospital where he died and hosting a memorial service for him at the Gilmore mansion. However, she also clashes with Lorelai over how to handle Richard's estate and ends up suing her own daughter. Eventually, Emily begins to find new purpose in her life, volunteering at a whaling museum and rekindling a romance with a former flame.
