What kind of god was Hermes?
Hermes was the son of Zeus — the father of all gods — and the Mayan nymph. The Greeks attributed several functions to him: he was the messenger of Zeus, his father, leader of the souls of the dead in hell, symbol of prosperity among people and protector of travelers, merchants and thieves.
