What is the “Under Our Wing” initiative?

The “Under Our Wing” initiative is a unique network of peer support groups that moves beyond traditional conversation. We believe that shared action can be a catalyst for collective healing and community repair.

Every participating support group will undertake a Mental Initiatives Service Project, a tangible project that addresses a specific mental health need in our neighborhood

Why Service Projects?
For too long, the challenges facing our community—the historical trauma, systemic barriers, and mental health struggles have created isolation and left parts of us feeling damaged. We’re aiming to:
- Heal Through Action
- Foster Unity
- Repair Our Community
