What is gradient nail art?
Gradient nail art, also known as ombre nail art, is a technique that involves blending two or more nail polish colors together to create a gradual transition or fade from one color to another. It creates a subtle and beautiful effect that can be customized with different color combinations.
- Choose your nail polish colors: Select two or more nail polish colors that you want to use for your gradient design. Make sure that the colors blend well together and create a smooth transition.
- Apply a base coat: Apply a base coat of clear nail polish to your nails and let it dry completely.
- Apply the first color: Apply the lightest color of nail polish to your nails, covering the entire nail. Let it dry completely.
- Apply the second color: Apply the second color of nail polish to a makeup sponge, and then dab the sponge onto your nails. Start at the top of your nail and work your way down, blending the second color into the first color. Repeat this step until you achieve the desired blend.
- Repeat with other colors: If you want to use more colors, repeat step 4 with the additional colors.
- Finish with a top coat: Once the gradient is dry, apply a top coat of clear nail polish to your nails to give them a smooth and glossy finish.
