FAQ About PACT

Our organisation, known as the Professional Accountancy Club of TYMBA (PACT), was established in 2022. Our members are TYMBA Education students who have been awarded scholarships from various Government-Linked Companies, including Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Bank Islam, Johor Corporation, Maybank and others.

To introduce ourselves, the PACT is a student-led initiative committed to offering resources, networking avenues, and professional growth opportunities for students aspiring to become professional accountants. Our mission is to facilitate students' access to essential opportunities, enabling them to thrive in their careers and contribute positively to the industry.

The available modes of transportation to go to the college may vary depending on the location:

1. Public Transportation: Buses or trains may provide convenient access to the college. Information about local public transportation routes and schedules can be obtained through transport authority websites such as Prasarana MyRapid, Moovit and more.
2. Own Vehicles: Students can use their personal vehicles or carpooling options to reach the college.

2. Action will be taken immediately.

3. If the problem has not been resolved in 3 days, please contact the PIC to follow up.

As of August 2024, the college will only cover:

• RM200 for Berlian Hostel
• RM170 for Maxim Citylight, PV20 & PV3 Hostel

Any excess amount above these limits must be paid by the student of the unit themselves. Please plan accordingly to avoid any additional costs.

LATEST PROCEDURE TO CLAIM (effective by 6 February 2023)

Please take note of this matter regarding the MY50 claim 

1. TYMBA is transferring from CIMB, so students who gave CIMB accounts will get their claims instantly, while others will take time up to 1 day to be cleared.

2. Claims are limited to rm50 per month only, so students who submitted the receipt RM60 still get RM50 only.

3. For upcoming claims, students are NOT required to send hard copy of the receipt to PACT anymore. The proof must be included in the google form only.

Yes, there is. It is known as TYMByte, located at Mercu Summer Suite @ Level 2. The place is 5 minutes walking distance from Monorail Bukit Nanas.

Some classes will soon commence here starting from July and as for the new library, it will be ready by September.
