Where did Rumi spend most of his life?
Rumi spent the majority of his life in Konya, which is in present-day Turkey. After fleeing from the Mongol invasions, his family settled there, and it was in Konya that Rumi developed his teachings and met Shams-e Tabrizi, who greatly influenced his spiritual journey and poetry.
