Under normal climate and operational conditions, the tanks have an estimated life span of 60 years.

Routine maintenance is very essential to ensure the longevity, safety and quality of the liquid stored. Some include; visual inspections, liner inspections, roof, access hatch and ladder, cleaning and disinfection, valves and pipelines assessment

The steel components are made from hot dipped galvanized steel and coated with zinc to protect the surface from degradation.

The steel tank is installed by trained technicians. Typically, depending on the size of the tank being installed, it could take 3 to 12 days.

A reinforced concrete ring beam, with a well levelled sand bed to ensure the tank sits balanced on without leaning.

To safety store such liquids, the following factors will be considered;
1. The type of hazardous liquids
2. Concentrations and Temperature
3. Type of Liner material used

All bolts have high tensile strength and have a grade of 8.8 whereas the steel grade for the tank is G300. Some roof is corrugated and has a grade of G550.

Very ecofriendly as compared to other plastic and concrete storage solutions. The steel components are recyclable and also minimal disturbance during installation.

A PVC liner woven on both sides is installed in the tank and a geotextile liner is placed on the sand bed to protect the pvc liner.
