The water is back to normal hardness after a few months of using the softener. It’s just a fancy box you can show your friends.
The water drains every night giving a feeling that it’s working. But actually, there is no ion exchange happening. The salt does not get consumed. The worst part is there is no listing and provision on the Bounten website to log a complaint for the softener.
The technicians come, pretend to clean the clogged pump, and go. The system works for a day or two after that. Then again it’s back to normal hard water.
It’s a complete waste of money. The taps, and floor of my house have started seeing huge deposits of salt despite paying heavily for the softener.
