What currency are the packages?
Prices will be in Sterling (GBP) and Saudi Riyals (SAR), but cards will be charged in SAR.
I'm an expat and want to fly out from overseas
If expats join from overseas, once you book a package, the system will allow you to request the removal of a flight as you will be flying from another city.
They will ask you to provide evidence that you reside abroad. The acceptance to remove flights will be subject to the approval of the package supplier.
Should I get travel insurance?
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. We can not advise on a particular company or policy. Please check and compare the benefits before choosing.
How many UK citizens are allowed to Hajj this year?
This year the quota for the UK is based on 1 person for every 1000 Muslims in the country. This has been calculated as 3600 visas total.
How can I avoid paying card fees for my trip?
We recommend using one of these 3 suggested banks/debit cards due to their exchange rates

What does Shifting and Non-shifting mean?
Shifting
You are always moved from one hotel to another providing residence away from Haram during the top days of Hajj and then bringing you close to Haram Once Hajj days are over.
Non-shifting
In Non-Shifting Packages pilgrims are always keep at a single location in Makkah and Madinah close to Haram.
What vaccinations do I need?
You will neeed
- 2 COVID vaccines, PCR tests are NOT accepted
- Meningitis ACWY
- Your GP can do this
- Or a local pharmacy can as well (Tesco pharmacy are good as they stamp and provide you a certificate)
- Your vaccinations must be had at least 10 days before travelling
- Do please do this in advance as some places need to order in vaccines
Is Qurbani part of any of the packages?
Currently Qurbani is not included in any of the packages, however the guides (Dome Tours, Al Hidayah etc.) are working to get this organised with Al Bait
When will the packages be released?
All packages will be released on the Nusuk platform. No prices or indication of prices, or price comparison will be discussed before it is launched on Nusuk.
Please perform dua that you will be one of the chosen people to enter Allah (SWT) house, and if you aren't this year, remember no matter what, if you did anything different, this would not make a difference to Allah's (SWT) choice, so take solace in knowing whatever happens, it means it is meant to be.
What is the difference between European camp and VIP camp?
Firstly all tents are exactly the same in their offerings, the term VIP is used only to denote the benefit in location being closer to the Jamarat.
Being in the European camp means you will be closer when going back to Makkah as coaches will be there to pick you up when taking you back.
How will payments happen?
All transactions will be in Saudi Riyals (SAR), however you can see prices in GBP
These figures may likely change, but payments will be done in instalments
- Initial deposit 10~20%
- 20% around Eid
- 30% around mid Shawwal
- 40% a month after travelling
What and who are the guides this year?
This year Duyuf al Bait is one of a handful of companies in Saudi who are authorised to sell Hajj packages through the Nusuk platform. The agencies we had here once upon a time do not handle payment of the trip, they are now called guides.
Every guide will have an associated code which will be against each package, which informs you who will be a guide for the package you wish to select.
