FAQ About Hyundai Half Marathon - The course
01. What should I know about the course?
The Hyundai Half Marathon course starts right over the Tejo River at the Vasco da Gama bridge, offering an opportunity to run over the longest bridge in Europe and see Lisbon from an exclusive point of view. It shares the finish line with the EDP Lisbon Marathon, joining thousands of runners from both races at one iconic plaza: Praça do Comércio.
To assure that the runners have all the necessary support, the course includes 6 Aid Stations (offering water, fruit, and isotonic drinks), 4 Music Stages (live bands or DJs), 7 WCs points (most of them next to the Aid Stations), 1 field hospital at the finish line and 2 Cool Stations (showers in the course).
With a race record of 01h00m20s (that the organization wants to beat this October), the Hyundai Half Marathon course is fast enough for runners who want to beat their personal best, as well as runners that look for a beautiful and exciting race in an extraordinary city.
