How did Mother Teresa become a nun?
Mother Teresa became a nun by joining the Sisters of Loreto at the age of 18. She moved to Dublin, Ireland, where she began her novitiate. After taking her initial vows, she left for India to teach at a convent school. It was during her years of teaching that she felt a "call within a call" to serve the poorest of the poor, leading to her founding the Missionaries of Charity.
