How long should my baby use a car seat?
Your baby should use a rear-facing car seat until they reach the highest weight or height allowed by the car seat manufacturer. After that, they can switch to a forward-facing car seat, then a booster seat, and finally, a regular seat belt when they are tall enough to sit with their back against the seat and their feet flat on the floor.
