When should a child transition from a rear-facing to a forward-facing car seat?
Children should remain in a rear-facing car seat for as long as possible, until they reach the highest weight or height allowed by the car seat manufacturer. Once a child outgrows their rear-facing car seat, they should transition to a forward-facing car seat with a harness.
