To age up your Sims in The Sims 4 and progress them to the next life stage, you have a few options depending on the age group of the Sim:

Aging up babies to toddlers:

• Babies in The Sims 4 automatically age up to toddlers after a few days. There is no direct control over this transition.

Aging up toddlers to children:

• Toddlers can age up to children manually. To do this, you need to have a birthday cake or birthday candles.
• Purchase a cake or place candles on a regular cake or cupcake.
• Click on the cake and select "Blow Out Candles" or "Add Birthday Candles" depending on the object you have.
• Choose the toddler you wish to age up, and they will blow out the candles or make a wish, transitioning to the child life stage.

Aging up children to teenagers:

• Similarly, children can age up to teenagers through a birthday celebration.
• Follow the same steps as with toddlers, but this time select a child Sim to age up.

Aging up teens to young adults and beyond:

• Teenagers can age up to young adults and continue progressing through adulthood in various life stages.
