FAQ About Discord
How do I change my Discord profile picture?
Open Discord and log in to your account.
At the bottom left corner of the Discord interface, click on the gear icon. This will open your User Settings.
In the User Settings, click on the "My Account" tab on the left sidebar.
Under the "My Account" tab, you'll see your current profile picture displayed. Click on the profile picture to open the upload interface.
Discord will present you with options to change your profile picture. You can choose to:
- Upload a new picture: Click on the "Upload" button, browse your computer for the image file you want to use, and select it.
- Use an existing Discord avatar: If you want to use one of Discord's default avatars, click on the "Default" tab and choose the avatar you prefer.
- Use your webcam: If you want to take a new picture using your webcam, click on the "Camera" tab and follow the prompts to capture a photo.
Once you've selected or taken a new picture, Discord will display a cropping interface. Adjust the crop by dragging the corners of the selection box or using the zoom buttons.
When you're satisfied with the cropping, click the "Save" button.
Discord will update your profile picture, and it will be visible to other users in servers and direct message conversations.
